Return to Work
Caterpillar Press is a queer and trans-owned, non-for-profit Risograph publishing house based in PINK, Stockport. Comprising five established book and print artists of varying practices, we work collaboratively with creatives across the UK.
Pita Santos (they/he) is an illustrator and graphic designer whose work explores Filipino culture, identity, and community influences. They are also part of the HappeningInMCR team and run Studio HALUHALO with Jude Whippey (they/them), a queer Filipino designer whose practice engages with digital futurism shaped by their heritage. A founding member of the press, Rudy Valley (he/him) is a trans artist working with queer histories and archiving. Aisling Meehan (she/her) is a student designer based in Galway who has interned with the press since late 2025.
Through Caterpillar Press, we aim to break down barriers to publishing by creating affordable and accessible routes into making—sharing skills and materials as widely as possible while championing visually striking work from marginalised makers.
We regularly collaborate with organisations that share our values, including PINK, BRUT Life Drawing (Carolina Sepulveda), Gloaming Creative, STOCKROOM, and MMU Publishing Society.
